US Bitcoin ETF Inflows Stall at $82.9 Million After $2.39 Billion Week
Spot Ether funds swung to net withdrawals, and BlackRock's IBIT took in cash while most of the rest of the category sold.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs took in a provisional $82.9 million in the week ended October 2, almost completely stalling after attracting $2.39 billion the week before, FinanceFeeds reported.
Spot Ether ETFs swung from nearly $690 million of inflows to roughly $118 million of withdrawals. The totals are not yet final: Farside Investors still showed no Friday figure for BlackRock's IBIT when FinanceFeeds checked on 4 October, and BlackRock's ETHA and ETHB figures were also blank for Friday, so both weekly numbers could change.
On the available figures, Bitcoin ETF inflows fell about 97% week over week. The prior week was unusually strong: roughly $2.39 billion between 21 and 25 September, which The Block described as the largest weekly inflow since October 2025.
This week began with $31 million on Monday and $66.2 million on Tuesday, before investors withdrew $148.7 million on Wednesday, ending a nine-trading-day run of positive flows. Thursday brought $102.7 million of inflows, and the incomplete Friday data showed another $31.7 million.
The aggregate hid a concentrated week. IBIT attracted approximately $292 million from Monday through Thursday, including $195.6 million on 1 October alone, while all Bitcoin ETFs combined drew only $51.2 million over those four sessions. That implies the rest of the category was a net seller of roughly $240.8 million.
Fidelity's FBTC lost about $167.9 million for the week on the figures reported so far, and Grayscale's GBTC lost a net $54.6 million. Final issuer data could still change these totals.
